"In the 1950's the United States began to send troops to Vietnam. During the following 25-years the ensuing war would create some of the strongest tensions in US history. Almost 3 million US men and women were sent thousands of miles to fight for what was a questionable cause. In total, it is estimated that over 2,5 million people on both sides were killed."[link]
Phew... finally done.
It turned out perfect, just as i wanted it!! This is a tribute to the war that i am fascinated with. US soldiers turned the course of the world over there. The world as we knew it before Nam would never be the same, for none of us, ever.
Forgotten, neglected heroes of Nam, i salute you.
You did your job; you changed the world.

Actually, men put those cards behind the helmet band as a symbol of a group.
In the case of the Ace of Spades, soldiers mostly belonged to the AirCav regiments, if i'm correct.
It's kind of symbolic to the whole Vietnam war, because men used a lot of texts and objects to express themselves.

Ik weet eigenlijk ook neit waarom ik Engels praat. Ik denk dat het gewoon aangeleerd is om op dA Engels te praten.
Ik heb nooit zoveel verstand gehad van oorlogen, maar dat is wel een interessant feitje om eerlijk te zijn.

Zeker als het schoolexamen geschiedenis over Nam gaat, onze lerares geilt op dit soort weetjes.
Maar als het dan weer over Nederlandse staatsinrichting gaat haal ik mooi een 4. Achjaaaa...

bij mij maakt het meestal niet uit waar het over gaat. Bij het laatste tentamen had ik voor geschiedenis 1 een 2,9 en voor geschiedenis 2 een 3,5. Bij de herkansingen werd de 2,9 een 3,4 en geschiedenis 2 heb ik opgehaald met mijn geschiedenisdossier.
Wij zijn helaas nog niet bij Nam, dit hele jaar gaat over de eerste wereldoorlog en daarna...
