for my design thinking class, out final project is to make a physical model of out design thought process. My process involves balancing logic and love; hence the heart and the gears. each gear is a step in process and each one turns the next step. the gears are hand operated b/c design requires human interaction, and you turn the gears by turning the "problem" gear; either by the finger hole or the teeth of the gear itself. if you try to turn the solution, the gears lock up b/c of their size difference.

materials:
1" and 1/8" thick wood
1/8" metal rods
1/8"plexiglass
screws
cherywood wood-stain
