Description
So here’s that pic I said I’d colour, it took longer than expected (damned exams!) but it's final done. And if you haven’t seen the rough sketch then you should know that this is Eragon and Saphira from the book “Eragon” (good book by the way) with Temeraire and Laurence from the “Temeraire series” (another set of good books)I got the background pic from [link] by the way.
Enjoy! Oh, and if there is anything that I could fix or work on feel free to tell me.

I do like the rendering but, I must point out that Temeraire is a very large dragon; close to four times the size of Saphira. I know this sounds awkward but if you were to render the two characters again, Saphira would appear to be the size of a large dog juxtaposed against a horse!
When they make the film, VFX team will have a tough time with the size difference from other movie dragons which as you know don't grow beyond the size of a small airplane. Temeraire would be larger then a Boeing 737!

I used a free program called Expressions 3. I don't know if it's still free though (Microsoft bought it by now it’s probably costs $$$$) but I used the brush "crow feather" I think.
