Yay! A new front cover! When I made the original front page, I wasn’t really sure who the rest of the characters would be or where the plot would be going after the prologue. So I ended up making a really generic, basic cover page with a scene that doesn’t even happen because I realized the mountains were in the other direction the characters were heading.OLD VERSION

So here we are! What do you guys think? Can you recognize who some of the characters are? Any guesses as to what you think could happen in the story based off of the new cover? What do you think of the expressions? Any ideas who the two unnamed characters are or what they will be like? I so curious about what you all think!! DUDE, that lighting and shading just brings that whole thing together so well!! I love the scene and the cats' poses, it looks very professional!

amazing! lighting is incredible as always. the shading on the cats does make them look a little bit like they're made of plastic, though, and i must ask, what exactly is the focus of the drawing? the skull, or Skittles and the other cats?

Thanks for the feedback! Since it’s a cover, there isn’t really any one particular focus. I included the things I felt were central and most important to the overall plot and main storyline. The skull is meant to be the first thing your eye focuses on, because it contrasts with everything else so much. Your eyes would then naturally explore the image, so you would read the words and then rest your eyes on Skittles and the other cats.
