Roxas and Xion.Their expressions are not supposed to be like that. Hahaha! Xion is supposed to be teasing and glomping him and he's supposed to look annoyed in an amused way and they're supposed to be laughing and all that. Point is, they're supposed to be exaggeratedly happy.
But then I was listening to their themes while drawing this and so it resulted in subdued expressions. Also, after I messed up their faces, I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do with the background anymore, so... there.
Now I'll go take a nap and then maybe draw something else because I feel so stressed and I do art when I'm stressed. Haha!

Everything about this picture makes me want to sequel. the sun set background is just lovely. and I'm a huge sucker for drawings that put my fave pairings in diffrent clothings. escpially normal clothing. If i didn't know what Roxas and Xion was i would say this is a normal drawing and i love that when it comes to fan art. The faces are perfect actually. Too many fans stick to the themes of their couples when not realized that any couple can have so much more done to it then sticking to their themes in their stories. Roxas and Xion deserve more happy pictures. I also love this pairing. Going in my faves and please do more.

When I first finished this drawing, I wasn't too sure how to feel about it because it didn't turn out as I had originally planned. But I've warmed up to it now and I think it actually came out better than what I had wanted. Plus, comments like yours make me like my own art even more.
I agree that Roxas and Xion deserve more happy pictures. They deserve happiness, period. Hahaha!

I love you, Acquia! This just made my day! I adore RokuShi! But you know that. Hahaha. Yep. After SoKai, they're my OTP.
And this picture is marvelous! It's nice seeing the lighter side of them. And though you say they look subdued, I think this is one of the happiest Roxas/Xion pictures I've ever seen. You just can't not draw the tragic side of them. But this one, though it has heartbreak as an undertone, focuses on their beautiful relationship more.
You're becoming quite the talented artist. If only there was a scene like this in the game. I think this is how they'd act around each other since they were both kid like.
And I, for one, love the outfit you designed for Xion. Most people draw her in dark outfits, but I don't think that's right. Most of the time, Xion was light, happy, sweet, energetic, blunt... the list goes on and on.
Honestly, I think black suits NaminΓ© better, but that's a discussion for another time. LOL.
Love this! And it's funny that I was just thinking of asking you to do a RoxIon. You read my mind. LOL.

I'm not really sure exactly how long it takes me to color, but it takes some hours. Drawing, unfortunately, is not something that comes easily to me so it takes time.
