Bleah. These days I sometimes need reassurance that I can still remember how to draw, and the results tend to end up on my Latin readings.I can't believe that this guy hasn't already made an appearance in my gallery, so HAVE SOME JUDGE CLAUDE FROLLO. This will not be the last of him!
Have I mentioned how much I love this pious hypocrite? Well, I'm mentioning it now. I looooooove this character. He's probably the most complicated and realistic of Disney baddies - we've seen a couple similarly 'intellectual' villains out for power and money, but never one brought low by carnal desire, of all things. In a Disney film! Never mind one who actually thinks he's carrying out God's will on earth, one burning city at a time...
...and that is why you should go watch "Hellfire" and marvel at what went flying over your head at age 6.
And another thing: the hands. The voice. GUH.

This is so funny! I loved Judge Claude Frollo's character his complexity is intriguing! Haha sex hair. It's cool to know others think the same way, i also can't believe they stuck this in a Disney Movie

Hellfire was always my favorite sequence in that movie, even when I was younger and things were indeed flying over my head, and even though my favorite character was "the narrator guy" as I called him then. And Tony Jay.... Tony Jay.... that luxurious voice. Just imagine him saying the word luxurious!
I have to tell you that I paid a visit to Tokyo Disneyland about 2 years ago and sat down to watch one of their show thingies, as it was raining and it seemed like a good idea. The usual villains are doing their thing, and suddenly these cloaked figures glide on to the stage, and I think, Surely not. And then out of the fog strides Frollo, and I can't believe my eyes. Granted, it's been many a year since I've been to Disneyland stateside, but I'm pretty sure Frollo hasn't been around there since the movie first came out. Yay, Japan.

Yes!! You're so right! Those words "This burning desire" and "She will be mine or burn" just went in on ear and right out the other at 6! I think Frollo's the most realistic of all the Disney villians. Great job drawing him

I KNOW OMG!! When I have the time to work on my own personal stuff (art/fan fiction), I never have the interest or inspiration, but when I'm in school and swamped by projects and homework, I'm motivated but all my time and energy is already used up! Sigh. Still, I do my best.
