Description The ruling family of Almerac, headed by Empress Maxima ( who sits on the crystal throne ) and her eldest and youngest daughters at the foreground. To the left is the head of the powerful House Krenon, the cyborg De'Cine, while to the right is the Empresses son who bears the warrior title of 'Ultraa', and the Empresses middle daughter.

ย I could be wrong but DC never really covered Maxima's Homeworld much, mostly focusing on it when it was near destroyed by War World, near ripped apart by Star Breaker, then obliterated by the Imperiex entity. Which is a bit of a waste. Anyway, here is some fan art and my own take on the ruling family ( with the background of how i picture Almerac when it isn't in ruins ).

I've made use of several different versions of Maxima, i felt the simplest way to accomodate them all was to have 'Maxima' as their family name. So i refered to the animated Maxima for the ruling Empress, classic Maxima as her eldest daughter, the New 52 version as the youngest daughter, and the Smallville TV version as the middle daughter, with minor comic characters Ultraa and De'Cine added to the mix.

It did take a while, it took long enough to draw out the initial layout but i felt it worked out nice. Thanks
