Year: 2011Client: DC Comics & SONY
Media: Media: Pencil, PITT Pen and COPIC marker on Strathmore Drawing paper, then colored with Adobe Photoshop CS2.
Here's my UNCHARTED cover, done for SONY as a giveaway poster at San Diego Comic-Con 2011, and then used as a variant cover for DC Comics' UNCHARTED comic last month. The Drake face is different than the poster version: I redid it because I didn't think I came close to the way Drake looks in the game. This is a little closer, but it usually takes me 5 to 7 attempts before I get close to a character.
I love the UNCHARTED games. This cover was designed as an homage to Drew Struzan's INDIANA JONES movie posters. Imagine my surprise when Drew himself was standing at my table at San Diego, saying hi and thumbing through my portfolio...

Id love this even more if Elena werent included. Chloe is the only girl that matters in this game, she's awesome and already knew how to wield a gun... unlike elena.. Damn that grenade in uncharted 2 for not killing her!!!

Granted Elena does start to catch on, but Chloe is just so much more mysterious and that just makes her character. Elena on the other hand, i just... well Elena.

Anyway, Chloe is cool, but Elena is one of the more important character's in Uncharted. She was here since the very beginning.
You call Chloe ''street smart'' but yet, Elena is still more experienced then her. For instance, She knows how to speak different language's, is an expert at journalism and so on. Their's nothing mysterious about Chloe.
So she's more skilled with firearms then Elena, big-freaking-deal. Shooting isn't rocket-science y'know? Everyone could learn it.
It's completely fine to like Chloe more, but saying stuff like ''Elena needs to die!'' is stupid. That's like saying ''Sully needs to die!''
And you and I both know that Sully and Elena are a huge part of Nate (so is Chloe) It's what makes his character. Nate is obviously in love with Elena.
