How did I miss this? Great work mate. CoM was in desperate need of Exploration ships and this fits the bill wonderfully. Post her up on the forums. I'm sure others would love to see this work.

Cool, looking forward to the ships - the CoM universe could be really great if people could establish an even bigger universe for it.
I kind of like doing the ships now that I know how to make them look good so I will surely make some more.

I'm already familiar with that - I even have an account on the CoM forums but after a short period of time I realised that I suck at drawing those ships. I'm a long-time friend of Theunis (handofmanos here on DA) and he got me into making those ships again

well your getting stuck in now, and as you can see by my first version of my ships, they dont look great, but as time is going on i am getting better and should be designing like josh at some point.

With that kind of drawings it's always the same - in the beginning you can't get anything right but soon it gets very easy after a few tries. I remember that my first ships were so bad, I even deleted them from my computer ...

It's some kind of long-range front-facing scanner
The blue thing on top is an AWACS-like radar and the yellow machinery on the bottom is for detailed planetary scan.
