Description
Artur Hawkwing, the High King from Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time. If you want to get nerdy with me, this is Hawking leading his troops out of Tova (seen in the distance) through the Jolvaine Pass, where he will surprise (and be surprised by) Guaire Amalasan’s forces. Hawking captures Amalasan using brilliant tactics, and brings him to Tar Valon for trial, which sets in motion the schism with the White Tower and the Consolidation. If you can’t tell, I really dig Artur Hawking.

Thanks! I used a reference for color sampling in the bg, and then keyed my cel-shading off the orange/purple palette; seems to have worked well here.
