Continuing my re-designs for the Mega Man universe, here's Rush! Also included are some quick sketches of his hoverboard, submarine, and catapult modes. You can read more about my thinking behind the design and my whole process at our new blog on ComfortAndAdam.com.He's a huge canine transformer. That can't not be awesome. Also, I like to consider the Mega Man naming scheme (Rock, Roll, Blues, Bass, etc.) and the name Rush - Rush the dog enhances and adds more abilities to Mega Man/Rock. Rush the band is one of the most important prog rock acts of all time, adding more dimension to and experimenting with the possibilities of rock music. Hmmmmm...
*Also, Rush the dog barks with the voice of Geddy Lee. /headcannon

Thanks! I probably won't do X for two reasons: 1) I was never as big into X as I was the originals, even though the gameplay was so much better. And 2) X already looks awesome! There isn't a lot of improvement needed, and I've come across all kinds of sweet updated versions in my quest for good MM reference. So he's already fine and doesn't need me as much as MM, Roll and the gang.

Oh you should absolutely play 6 and 7. They really are good and 6 has that awesome Rush Armor. Some people didnt like 7 but I thought it was very fun.

Yeah, I also did those for myself - I wanted to design him knowing how his body would have to transform to do different things. Had to change his leg shapes a few times to get a body that worked in all the different modes.
