Description I have been a bit obsessed with infrared lately. I will try to put away the IR camera for a while and get back to normal.

wicked contrasts, not only in color, but the shapes and composition makes this also very interesting to look at!

Well, how do you set the camera to capture the infared lights?

All cameras capture infrared light by default, but the manufacturers put specially coated mirrors in the cameras so your pictures look "normal". You can buy a filter to put on your lens, but the downside is always having to use a long exposure. For that reason people "convert" their cameras, by removing the stock mirror in the camera and replacing it with an r72 mirror (720nm spectrum is standard infrared). Hope that helps.
Sounds complicated, but google can help.

Obsession is a GOOD thing, when it comes to art. This is a really successful IR piece despite the hot spot. It really conveys the quality of light.

What exactly is an IR camera?

In this case, it is a normal camera, converted to capture infrared light.

Well not sure what settings you mean. With IR, it's a bit complicated.
