Description
Taken in the tropical greenhouse of the Paris' National History Museum. There was this small leaf under a beautiful even if strong light, resting on another huge leaf of some tropical plant.
This was about two meters above the ground, and I had to hold the big leaf in one hand and take the picture with the other hand, so I had a hard time focusing. I know the subject is not sharp enough to make this picture perfect...
No selective colouring, the light just makes the wide dark green leaf seem white...

Well, I just saw the right thing at the right time.
You can be absolutely sure there was no selective colouring.
I'm glad you like it !

Yes indeed. The picture may be nice, but anyone could have taken it.
in fact, I even kinda missed it.
But it was an incredible opportunity to find those two leaves at the perfect position, one above the other, and the sun lighting them correctly...

Thanks !
I am also very proud of this picture, but only when I see the thumbnail. This lack f focus really disturbs me.
Do you think I am to hard with myself ?

I like the focus ...may I ask where you had the focus set to
center or off.....center..

Well, I focused manually to the closest possible, and then moved the camera (easier than moving the subject or the focus ring) to where I thought would be the best.

nicely done.....!!
I'm always getting close with the camera depending
on the lens I use......
the lighting behind comes through very nicely...very warm.
