Oh, look. Something to do other than study for finals. Basically, I remembered this shitty thing and how much fun it was, and decided to do a revamp of it. It's a fun way for me to experiment with color and textures, and now you can, too.If you click "Download," you get a fun little template that you can mess around with (it's a .psd file). There are separate layers for the eyes, nerve appendages, skin, shadows, and my awful lineart, and you can adjust each one as you see fit. To change the color of a layer, go under Image->Adjustments->Hue/Saturation. From there, you can putz around with the different slides and get all sorts of values. If you want to add markings/textures, make another layer on top of the skin. Great mindless fun.
The Protoss race are (c) Starcraft/Blizzard Entertainment. In the event that you use this and are proud of yourself, please credit and link back to me.
Argh, I should move this to scraps later.

Naw, just a random female that you can make into whatever you want. If you have Photoshop or GIMP (which you can download free, I think), you can play with the colors and markings and stuff.

I always loved the Protoss. maibe because theyr were the first alien race I really cared about. I player Starcraft 11 yars ago, and I we when I was disvovering epic games and novels, and I never really stopped looking for more epic stuff! Now I'm writing my own epics, and still feel the need to read and play more

This is pretty cool! I didn't know you could shade .psd files this way. o_o You should edit your comment and recommend that people who don't have Photoshop can use GIMP ( [link] ) to open/save as .psd files.
I really like how the hair is shaded on the last two and their glowey eyes.

I guess I read your comment and wanted to tell you that GIMP ( [link] ) lets you open/save as .psd files. You don't need expensive Photoshop, these programs are very similar. Hopefully that helps. o__O;;;
