While I have different ideas about the Snape family (you know, everyone interprets it differently, what with little info we have about them in the books), I really enjoy your picture. The kindly, loving expressions of the parents are particularly well-done, and the baby Sev is awwdorable!

Forgot today...yesterday now...was Severus' birthday. Gah! I was going to do a little something, I've been so wrapped up in my current fanfic. *clears throat* At any rate, this is cute and a very interesting idea for back story. Parts of it I can really see happening, though some how I always imagined Tobias being a factory worker who was laid off or something. Guess that came from them living in a run down industrial town though. By the way, your English doesn't seem that bad, at least from the artist comments you write. I've seen much worse from people who speak and write English as their native language. If you ever decide to take a stab at writing that short story in English I'd be happy to help you out as a beta reader to smooth out the translation. I have a decent amount of experience doing this for others here on dA that use English as a second language. I wish I new more German or I'd off to translate for you. My experience with that is minimal at best. Anyway, just thought I'd say how cute this was. Sorry for rambling so much.

At first I've seen him as a factory worker, too. But then i thought about his and Eileen's first meet. An i think, if Tobias would be working in a factory and Eileen just walking through the down town and then they met each other, it would be for me too much a "dirty dancing" thing or so....
So the idea come up to let them meet in a way like the pharmacy. It has more style.
