Thank you. Fractal Explorer was one of the first fractal generators that I used regularly. It makes some of the coolest spirals.

Thanks. Not only is fractal explorer a really cool free program, but it makes the most awesomest of spirals.

Hope things went well. Not really sure I'm happy with the outcome here, but I thought this fractal was appropriate for the event.

yeah, u thought right. When i saw Election day, i thought: "what a coincidence!" but i forgot u too were on elections. Things didn't work out as i wanted, they're counting again on Monday, even though we won, but i'm happy, i'm ok with the results, we can't ask for too much. Thanks anyway.

Technically my friend.....this doesn't qualify as a legitimate fractal .....because in the center hole there where you punch it... if you turn it over .....you will see there is a chad hanging.

Don't go there.

That signature from Ben is awesome. Everyone in America needs to hear that one, especially when the start spouting homeland security nonsense. People fought and died for those freedoms and they should never be given up without another fight.

One of the brittish papers had a picture of Bush on it and the headline was "How can 59 million people be so dumb?" How'd you like to wake up to see a picture of yourself that way.

hahahaha i know...and sadly i think the only reason ppl went wiht him was b/c this election was liek "pick your poison" so they went with what they knew rather than risk the possiblility of a bigger problem...

Hey, thanks. When I saw all the little spirals that looked like a party going on, I made it red white and blue predominantly and gave it that name.

Intense! The more you look at this piece, the more details you can find. This must have taken a lot of layers to get just right. Sometimes it feels like you're falling into or 'out of' the fractal, but here, I can't quite make up my mind. Very nicely colored and certainly great timing.

👍: 0 ⏩: 3

Aeires In reply to Dusky-Hawk [2004-11-04 05:55:27 +0000 UTC]

Thanks. Actually, this was Fractal Explorer, so it only has one layer to it. FE makes the cooles spirals and I was really excited when this one started to develop. Thought it needed the patriotic colors because it reminded me of the confetti that is always dropped at conventions.

Dusky-Hawk In reply to Aeires [2004-11-04 06:20:48 +0000 UTC]

DA must be mucking around again. Three replies? I feel special.

Anyway, one layer? That's really hard to believe with all the complexity to the piece. By the way, it was my first time to vote this time, twas an interesting experience.

Aeires In reply to Dusky-Hawk [2004-11-04 06:29:14 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I thought they were shifted into maintenance mode because it kept timing out. Figures.

Fractal Explorer is such an underated program. I'm getting the itch to dig into it again. Anyway, voting is interesting. I skipped this time because I knew my vote wouldn't have mattered thanks to the 18th century voting policies that we just can't seem to escape from.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Dusky-Hawk In reply to Aeires [2004-11-04 06:31:51 +0000 UTC]

What do you mean by 18th century voting policies?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Aeires In reply to Dusky-Hawk [2004-11-04 06:35:45 +0000 UTC]

Electoral College. We aren't smart enough to pick the president by popular vote, we have to have others do it for us. Meanwhile, most of america never saw either candidate because their state didn't have the electorals or always vote one way statisticly. Get rid of the electoral and the turnout would blow the records away because each vote would count.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Dusky-Hawk In reply to Aeires [2004-11-04 08:10:28 +0000 UTC]

Then what's the point of voting anyway? If it has to go through the electoral college and they get to decide?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Aeires In reply to Dusky-Hawk [2004-11-04 08:18:10 +0000 UTC]

Supposedly the electoral collage votes by how their state votes, but tell that to Gore, who lost to the electoral collage and had the majority of actual votes. The whole process is a joke that needs to be deleted. I think it's all rigged so they don't have to count on the actual vote.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Dusky-Hawk In reply to Aeires [2004-11-04 08:23:20 +0000 UTC]

Thanks for the enlightenment, didn't know that. Think of the up-start it would cause if they had to count the votes, it would be quite a task until the process was debugged.
