Description
I look like I'm just floating by. This is just a random costume I put together, I was mostly having fun with the white sheer stuff making a veil, but then I thought the pictures turned out rather nice. I had to fix this one a little in photoshop because my green fabric backdrop wasn't quite big enough to cover the whole room. It was kinda tricky changing the stuff that showed through part of the veil, but I think I managed to fix it pretty well.---
I do NOT take any of my pictures with the intention that that be used as stock. I'm indecisive - that's why I post a lot of the 'same' stuff. However, if you really want to use one of them please note me, tell me your plan, and if I say ok link back to the picture you used.

ohh now this looks lke some pretty delightful fabric... you know, I've never used any sheer sort of fabric yet. I've learned how to use it and all that, but I haven't cut it, sewn it, worn it, etc.

oh yes I adore this type of sheer fabric!! I'm actually not sure what it's called, btu it drapes wonderfully, and is soft and cool and flowy and so fun!! although...not so fun to sew. This type is particularly bad because it's somewhat of a looser rather than stiffer sort of weave so it unravels like crazy!

bleh I can imagine. Do you not hem your sleeves so that it can't unravel?

if at all possible I keep the salvege edges intact with this fabric, but usually I do a little rolled hem as soon as I cut it so that it doesn't have any extra time to start unraveling. Of course it's slippery and doesn't like to stay in a nice tight roll, so it doesn't always look too great, but it's better than looking all hairy

aye, this is true. And plus, when it's all hairy it has the ability to just fall apart

well, mostly I didn't photoshop it out, I had string tied up across my ceiling and hung dark green fabric from it for a back drop, so it was really only a little bit of the room that showed on the side of the fabric that I had to change to match the green fabric, this one had a little more of the room in it just because I wasn't standinng centered in the fabric, but the other ones I put up here I didn't do anything to, or if I did, it was just mimimal cropping along the edge. still, I'm glad to know it's not obvious with this one.

yep, if you're not carefull photoshop can easily gobble up a whole day you always think you can finnish it quick because it's 'simple' but somehow it manages to take a long time anyway.
