Even if there wasnt written "Netherlands" in your profile, this piece would be enough to understand where are you from.
Really really beautiful.

Thanks for sharing that website Miss.
A little comment on the 3/4 view. Maybe it helps if you try to establish the right angle of the cheekline first and then look at the correct (horizontal) distance of the end of the noise with the cheek. I found that distance is mostly shorter then one thinks. If you have the correct distance (just put a dot or a line) then you at least have a fixed point where the nose should end. Also its good to check the position with the eye above (and especially the pupil). I would recommend looking at da Vinci, for exxageration of those particular facial shapes.
Thanks again for your kind words, I really appreciate them a lot.

you did perfectly the area i am having difficulty with right now - from a 3 quarters view, the edge of the nose against the eye. maybe if i stare at yours long enough i can understand what i'm doing wrong!

you can be proud of me now though.. i conquered my old problem - the area between the nose and lips!

gosh, if i could pick any artist to study under it'd totally be you.

This is quite a lovely rendering.
I particularily love the way you did the mouth, as they always seem to be my downfall.
The highlights done in white turned out rather well.

Although I can appreciate fading out a drawing, i think it would be nice to have a bit more shading down in the neckish area so that the picture is not as much a floating face.

But overall, you did a lovely job. Way to go. I shall have to look at your gallery..
