After watching one of 's stream's and she was talking to some of her friends about adoptables I decided to give drawing people a try again. I'm already aware of the things that are wrong with this drawing and I'll do my best not to repeat them. I just need to practice more. Anyways I think I'll put this one up for 150 points.

I dont know what all the fuss is about, this is extremely good for a first adoptable. it shows a LOT of potential, just the fact that youve got highlights in here shows that much. your not super far off when it comes to the ~general~ proportions and with a little work i could see it really catching on. i know you said your aware of the flaws with this picture so i just have some in general advice. Do that thing that you really dont want to, and do it a lot. (in this case i would say its actually learning feet, but thats just me speculating) All in All, Good Job, Glad you sold one, and keep up the good work.

I'll have you know Aero is a dear friend of mine, and in turn this comment was for Aero, but he was telling me about how sad he saw that he over priced his adoptable. And I don't give a shit about how popular, or really how not popular, you are about your commissions. If you surf the net long enough you'll see tons of people that get business and they draw worse than my friend Aero here. I'm just saying that you didn't need to come in here and say anything at all. I'm trying to show my student here the ropes, and I don't need a tight ass like you saying that his art isn't good enough for a measly $1.50 but hey I guess that means your art isn't worth that much, if you couldn't get a commission for that huh? But it's cool cause you know why? Aero is going to go places and learn how to be the best he can be, and it's not going to be because of idiots like you. You should never lower you art prices cause one person won't pay for them, that's how artists every day are getting ripped off because they don't understand that they can set the prices, not the customer. It's all about finding the right audience and the right price for you. Be yourself and people will flock to you for being who you are.

You know what? You're a terrible person. Aero here has made his first adoptable ever, and he doesn't know about pricing but I think 150 is just right. He's spent hours on this design and for what? points? they're not real money and if it were it'd be about 1.50$ and for you to just say that it's a lot for a simple design is just mean. If you didn't want it then don't comment on it. You didn't have to come here and bring your negativity. Comments like yours could end up stunting his growth as an artist and make him loose interest and motivation to keep going stronger. He doesn't have to reduce the price thank you very much. Also I had a look see at your gallery and it looks like you have a little trouble with anatomy yourself, so I wouldn't crab to hard if I were you.

Personally I think the reason why you couldn't make any sells was because you couldn't find the right people. It should be the artist that makes the prices rather then the customer (as kitty just said in her comment that you would've read had you not blocked her,) I do agree with her on this. I'm not trying to be mean to you or anything. Just wanted to put in my two cents.

Miss Kitty? I don't mean any disrespect, but... I think you kinda overreacted... It is very true that Aero is clearly improving, and, quite frankly, I'd like to help him out. But all he said was that 150 points was a lot for a design like that. How does that make him a "terrible person?" Quite frankly, I feel like 150 points is a lot for any adoptable in general, but I'm not really the go to person for things like that. The only times I've ever gotten adoptables, however, they were far more "detailed," and they were only 30 points apiece.

I don't mean any disrespect towards you, but this isn't really a conversation between me and you, it's a convo between me and them. I'd like to add that I tried to reply back to them but I was blocked, so it's clear that they didn't even want me to respond, which is highly immature of them. I might have over reacted a little but Aero is a dear friend of mine and I think he deserves 150 points for this picture, and I sell my adoptable at 500 points each, sometimes more. So it just goes to show that price is negotiable. All art is worth something, and to just say that it wasn't worth 150 points, just pissed me off. $1.50 is worth all the time and effort he put into this.

It's actually going... Admittedly kinda nuts. o.o; I woke up at 7 AM, went to summer class at 9:30 AM, got home at around 1:40 PM for lunch, went to work at 2:30 PM, and worked until 7 PM... Any other day of the week and I'd probably say it was pretty good, but today was actually pretty tough.
