A wolf sketch from photo reference. The reference was mainly for the form - it wasn't a high res picture so I got the basic idea down and then embellished a lot of the detail.Sorry for it being dingy-looking, this was photographed. I hate not having a scanner. Anyhow, I'll update this piece with the scanned version later this week once I'm done visiting family.
EDIT: Got it scanned, finally! Enjoy some nice crisp detail and no digital noise! Buuut some bad news... I was going to flesh out the background a bit, but my tablet got left at my parents' house and is somewhere in the mail, and all my brushes look like ass without the pressure sensitivity.

Although this is a photo of your drawing, I think it adds character somehow... Like this wolf is part of a folk tale from the past.

Thanks! I actually added a light sepia filter to it to embrace the imperfection of the photo, so I guess it worked. When I finally get around to scanning it, I'll try to give it back some of that character.
