Description Coming along slowly but surely, though I may have to start over since in smoothing out he surface I think I made it too small.

Looking good so far, keep it up, dude!  I've done a bit of from-scratch modeling, and I know what a pain it can be sometimes (especially for amateurs like me)!

Damn! I bow to your skills!

Here's a question.... are taped fists hard to make? I ask because I can't find any for Genesis 3 anywhere!

An IMMENSELY kind Daz'er on here gave me some for an older model but they're not great with Iray apparently

Hand wraps are on my list of things to make, and I'll probably move it to the top since it will come in handy for commission work. I haven't seen anything for genesis 3 yet, I haven't seen any boxing gloves either; I think the way the hands are set up compared to earlier models make it really difficult to convert anything over, but that may not matter if you're making it from scratch.

Is there a function on Daz that you use to make new materials / edit existing materials? Or do you have your own program to do that?

I ask because I was toying with the idea of doing an Olympic story and to have clothing with each country's flag would be awesome! (although I seriously doubt I have the programming skill to pull it off )

The way I edit materials for existing clothes is with photoshop, but any kind of photo editing software should work.

For example, using the trunks I made: The version that Ally wears:

Is my default silver/white color. I don't know if you've looked, but all clothing textures and patterns are saved as a flat jpeg image. I open up that image with photoshop, and copy another image as a layer on top of it. I set that layer to multiply, where it will change the fabric colors but won't obscure the shadings in the fabric. Then I flatten the image back down to a single layer and save it with a new name but in the same folder I got it from. I can then use it as a new material, and give a character Mexican-flag trunks, like I have here:

If the clothing you're using has a plain white version, that's the best place to start.

Aahhhhh I see!

I do some drawing on Manga Studio, never set a layer to multiply though, not sure what that is but I'll do some research!

Thanks for the tip

If damage to the head is less likely, the chests will probably suffer more. Still fem fighters dont mind bruises and swelling in the chest as long as their faces stay presentable.
