Description
This is my submission for the 2015 Elfquest fan art calendar, with the theme "Emotive portraits". Mine became March .

I might add more of a description later, but for now we'd like to let viewers decide what kind of emotions they see.
I think portraits are only a challenge if you vary the facial expression, so I loved this theme. Tried to make it even more difficult for myself to try a more subtle expression.
Oddbit may be a strange choice for subtleness; she's always so over the top, because she's the pretty girl of the tribe, and always in the spotlight. But I think I found my chance at the moment Rayek takes the palace and little Trinket with it into the future.
She does the loud crying later when all elves and trolls are gathered, figuring out what to do. But her initial reaction may be a more silent one, slowly realizing what just happened, realizing what she lost.
