To be honest, thos black markings seem, out of place with the rest of the creature. It looks more like someone colored them on a picture of two creatures rather then them being part of the creatures. Like how kids draw mustaches on pictures of people.

Seeing all your pretty digital paintings makes me yearn to try to get back into coloring things. XD Certainly not on any level near this, ha ha, but I do miss messing around with the painting tools in PS.

I have been in digital art mood lately; not sure how long it will last but I will have fun with it as long I can. Not going to abandon my belowed pencils and markers tho; I just give them a little break.

I'm actually trying to put together a sketch dump sort of thing...I don't want to make stand-alone posts of them.
And I actually need to get some different subjects, too. I've mostly been drawing the same 2-3 characters over and over. XD

I don't think it is a bad thing to draw same character over and over - my problem usually is that I cannot make two similar pictures of one person; they always look different...

Hahaha! When I was first starting out I had that same problem. XD I think I've conquered it for the most part.
But also when all you draw is the same character(s), you get really good at those character(s), so when you try to draw a totally different one you just ... fail.

The hardest thing when drawing scenes seems to be manage to blend the characters properly with the background so that they don't look paper dolls or something...
