PERSONALITY

Teri is usually seen to be a strict bodyguard and very quiet, but when off duty she is constantly smiling and having fun playing with her younger sister.

She can persuade and profile a lot of people just after talking to them for ten minutes when talking to them for the first time, which she uses to her advantage if any of the people she talks to tries to harm her family.

A bad habit of Teri’s is that once she sets her focus on something to help others she forgets to take care of herself. Usually her stepmother, her father, or Kurisu has to remind her to eat and sleep.

HISTORY

Teri is an outsider compared to everyone else in her family because of her ethnicity. She is half-English and half-Japanese. Her mother is English and her father is Japanese.

It is because of her paternal grandmother that Teri had a low self-esteem growing up. For most of her life she has hated and was very jealous of her cousin Meru because she is full Japanese. Whenever Teri did something wrong she was usually ignored by majority of the extended family and usually punished to be locked in her room for at least two weeks (with the exception of restroom, bathing, and eating). While whenever Meru did something wrong she was lectured and carried on to doing whatever she wanted to do.

There were also times Teri was jealous of her cousin Yuki. Her cousin Yuki is not full Japanese. Yuki is half-Chinese and half-Japanese, but because she is at least full Asian Yuki is treated better than Teri was by their grandmother.

Teri’s mother passed away due to an illness when Teri was nine. It wasn’t until after her mother’s death did Teri’s father appointed the Commander of the Defense Team to become Teri’s bodyguard and friend. Hideyoshi wanted his daughter to be happy and never appreciated his mother bringing Teri down because of his choice to love and marry a non-Japanese woman.

Her father, aunt, and uncle were the heads of the Tokugawa Takagi during the war with Teri as one of the undercover bodyguards. Because no one suspected her of being a bodyguard she was able to kill many assassins and other warriors in the battlefield. Since the end of the war, Teri vowed to never kill anyone unless her family was endangered. Because of her vow Teri stayed as a bodyguard to her family, but has been ordered to be the bodyguard of her family’s closest friend when they arrive to Japan from England. The English family has yet to arrive.

EDUCATION AND FIGHTING STYLE

Joining - After sparing her younger sister's kidnapper's life, Teri went to a local ramen restaurant (Izumi's Noodle Shop) to cool off and reflect on the events. While there a mysterious man began talking to her and telling her she could have killed the kidnapper. Teri realized that the justice system of was defected and needed to be fixed. The mysterious man told her about Ten Ryuu. After hearing there was a team fighting the injustice she asked the man on where to find the leader. The man smiled and said, "You're looking at him."

The Golden Lion - Teri chose this title to go by with Ten Ryuu Sho Batsu because gold is one of the three colors of her family's crest, and a lion to represent the English half of her ancestry.

She is very close to her stepmother. Her stepmother and a medical team took care of all the injured Takagi soldiers during the war.

Chris and Teri’s slightly oversized Haori are the only Haori’s that has a yellow-gold sleeve on the right arm and a black sleeve on the left arm. Chris wears one because she is the current Commander of the Takagi’s Defense Team, and Teri wears one because she is Chris’ protégée.
