I was mulling over new reference sheets for both of my cartoon casts, and sure enough I actually began to work on that promise!
This time, I wanted to also make sure that the TimePeace crazies were represented! With the lesser-used comic first, I went with one of the lesser-used characters to kick everything off: Danny! The poor guy (and the rest of the cast barring Rosey) hasn't been used too much since Methias showed up, but I still enjoy his empty-headed mellowness! So here's to the hippie who's unaware that the 60s are long gone!
Name: Daniel "Danny" Scooter Moonstarr
Age: 18
Face: Slender, with a wide mouth, pointed nose, almost perpetually-droopy eyes and slight stubble on the chin.
Body Type: Slender and lanky.
Personality: Don' worry! Be happy! Danny's a very chilled and relaxed guy. Positive probably 99 percent of the time.
Relationship Status: Currently dating Daisy Willow.
Bio:
Danny Moonstarr is the product of two hippies who missed the boat on Woodstock, but kept believing in the spirit of the 60s. Danny refuses to let the hippie lifestyle die, and his parents couldn't be prouder. They were traveling nomads, roaming the country and living around various zoos to commune with nature (which is how they adopted Floyd, Danny's pet penguin).
Sadly, the Moonstarr's van ran out of gas one day, and today's gas prices prevented the penniless family from filling up again. Fortunately, however, they came to a stop at the spacious lawn of the Willows, and decided to set up camp there. Willow patriarch Augustus Willow actually welcomed the new neighbors, and Danny had an immediate impact on the them, especially on their youngest daughter Daisy. Within weeks, Danny turned Daisy from another huffy early 60s fanatic to a happy hippie, much to the dismay of big sister Rosey.
To this day, Danny and Daisy are best of friends. He may not understand why Rosey isn't so friendly to him, but he honestly doesn't care (or perhaps he just doesn't realize it!). He has a mentor in Floyd in regards to how humans should act, yet still keeps up the appearance of an owner/pet relationship.
Danny Moonstarr, TimePeace and the storyline belong to me. So does the artwork.
