I was really angry when I drew it, because I had already drawn and finished it and then my PC crashed and lost the entire picture, forcing me to start over.
There's really something to be said for embracing emotions while drawing. Glad you like it.

I do, but it's mostly spanned out over roleplays so I could answer any question you may have.
It isn't yet compiled into a chaptered story, but if I had the time needed I could do it.

And yes, you're right. It does seem like a dark whisper. If you had to hear anything while viewing this picture, it would be hundreds of whispering voices and sobbing.

If I may give some constructive criticism, I just think this would look better if you perhaps created a bit of darkness around the edges/corners as though there were simply a small concentration of light (maybe even give that light a greenish hue to go along with his glowing eyes) around Nathaniel. Otherwise, that shade of gray clashes too much with how dark Nathaniel looks, but that may just be my opinion.
