I would love a mini series just about the evangelion universe WITHOUT eva's, and Godzilla is the world's only hope. It would just be so cool to see him pick off each angel one by one, it would work even better if it was filius goji from Godzilla MP.

Also goji could destroy supermechagodzilla's armour plating, which is arguably much stronger than an AT field. And it isn't like he hasn't fought shield wielding kaiju before, he's fought space Godzilla, mechagodzilla 1&2, supermechagodzilla, all 3 super x's, and more I can't think of off the top of my head. Also, spiral ray, so... yeah.

The funny thing about this is that Hideaki Anno is directing Godzilla Resurgence, so who knows, we might see a Godzilla/Evangelion crossover.

Godzilla: Ok, i fall asleep for a few years and now these idiots that call themselves ,,Angeles" arrive to devastate MY city and try to take over MY world. ( mouth starts to glow blue ) Alright, play time is over, it's time to put an end on the sad lives of these mother f******, and then after, I will have a loooooooong conversation with the humans and these ,,Evangelions" I've been hearing about. I guess they will have lots of fun with me and the other kaijus, since they want to play hero.....
