just dont use them then?? i think theyre cute and fun, and yeah they shouldnt be the finished version of a character but they're still useful for getting an idea for a design you want to work on

I use them for color/marking conceptualizing my animal characters, but its never the final product of the character, and I often change them a lot from what I created with the dollmaker.  I used to make adopts with it and post them on this site, but I really regret that and now I'm completely embarrassed that I've ever done that.

I agree that they're uncreative. The only time I ever use them now is when I'm extremely bored or in need of references.
