I like the sequel trilogy and I am looking forward to Rise of Skywalker. The Last Jedi was pretty good. Good, not great, and there were some parts that could have been better, but I still enjoyed it. And some people agree with me.

That doesn't mean fans enjoyed it either. It's one of the most divisive movies of the 21st century. Dude, where the hell have you been? This movie divided the damn fanbase more the The Phantom Menace did. If you truly think profit matters you have a problem and your knowledge on cinema is lacking.

I was initially concerned when Lucasfilms sold the rights to Star Wars to Disney.Β In my opinion, they have actually done a great job.
No Jar jar - Check!
Tie into the back stories - Check!
Bring back the actors that are still alive - Check
Bring back actors that have passed - Check.
The digital reproduction / reanimation of the actors that have passed away was a little weird, but I predicted that future movies would do this.
I would add more comments, but it would be a spoiler for people that have not seen TLJ.
