I like these little visual stories so much, and the art itself is really nice to look at. You handle colors and composition well, and anatomy + poses!

This is the rider that Yorek did not mean to, but accidentally (indirectly) killed during a... I'm guessing some form of arena fight? The rider fell off (or maybe was knocked off?) the back of the stryx and died, and thereby Yorek, being a pacifist, decided to quit?

The pacifist thing was more of a sarcastic joke, but yes, this is the event that lead up to the end of his career as an arena fighter.
He probably couldn't take all the guilt and responsibility that came with the death of that rider.

The rolling helmet is the perfect final touch to this piece that seals the atmosphere. It speaks volumes of the fate of the rider, like an ominous omen.

I always think at some point, arena stryx are just leased. In this one the dead rider doesn't have any connection to the stryx whatsoever, so the stryx is still fine and will be used to fight in another game.

That's a very interesting concept and one I've never thought of, but it makes so much sense! Like fighting arenas and gladiators of the olden days in Rome and all OvO I can already imagine more lore surrounding the practices and traditions of gladiators just from your picture and your comment. The pictures and concepts are very world-buildy<3 Will there be an expansion into that area of the universe of the stryx in the future? I see the 'arena' is under construction still? I'd love to see those ideas of yours be put into the official lore!

I don't know really. All the stryx universe stuff is up to Carni.
And even if I tried to suggest this, it'd either already be in the lore, or I'm just going to end up being a burden to the admins.
All I know is the arena will open once all the important events are over.

Buuuuttt your ideas are amazing, your world building pics are ridiculously creative and intriguing and it just sucks the viewer into the universe of the stryx and make you feel like it's actually a living, breathing world, with believable characters and settings and customs and practices and cultures. I really think it's worth a shot to suggest them ;u; I really don't think it'll be a burden to the admins, if at all, it might be great help because it might suggest to them something that they have missed, or did not think of yet!
you're not inferior, stop saying that x'D you're one of the most creative artist with the most beautiful art I've seen in a long, long time, and your input in anything, may it just be a suggestion to a small concept, or a big all-encompassing idea, will be worth listening to^^

I'm sure it could easily get out of hand, but in a mideval tech world, it's not like they had the best sanitation. It could have been the best option in some locations, and then horked up bones could be made into beautiful ossuaries in the churches 8C
