She's a Mk.14 Spitfire, not 21, of course we Brits always used roman numerals for Spitfire designations so technically she is an FR.XIVe. FR meaning fighter reconnaissance, and the e suffix refering to the wing configuration, this one having the "e wing".
Beautiful shot of the pair though.

They are British markings. These were the roundels used by the RAF when fighting in South East Asi against Japanese. They changed the roundel, removing the red inner circle so as not to confuse them with Japanese aircraft.
