jshfkj so I have about 38473289 other things to be doing, but I just spent most of last night/some of this morning doodling these, so. you know. screw bamboozle, giving me inspiration at the worst times. actually, I found this thing on pixiv and i was like amigawdfff <3 [link] which inspired this]

ANYWAYS. this is kind of something I wanted to do for a while -- show the connections between the major characters in Skye's story with small visual representations. I know a lot of people aren't too well versed in his overview, I find it hard myself to follow other people's stories, so if you're interested, read below < U >

this is more of an informational submission, than a visual thing < U >; A lot of the sketches above have sort of a half finished look, but I kind of like that :U very concept-sketchy, I guess?

Skye: the main character/hero of this "story", if you will. The Overlord of a parallel Netheruniverse known as the "Other World". He's been in charge for just under 500 years. Skye's developed a fascination, even an affection, for birds -- especially crows, ravens, hawks, vultures, and black birds.

Jester:Jester is one of the original 4 Monochromatics, along with Hier, Skye, and Roan, from the first MC gang. Skye saved him from the gang slaughter he causedwhen he was younger because his personality reminded him of his brother Keith. Jester's as smart as a rock in pretty much every aspect of his life except for hand to hand combat and martial arts -- the one area he really excels at. Despite how much Skye talks down to him, Jester's the only person he'd ever accept as his personal body-guard.

Hier: Skye spared Hier's life because he reminded him of his brother Seraph, in both looks and actions. He's the most benevolent of them all and believes in talking things over with love and kindness before using brute force. He excels in psychic abilities and healing, and is Skye's right hand man and assistant. Skye doesn't dare make a strong political or social move before consulting Hier first. If something were ever to happen to Skye, his empire would be passed down to Hier.

Roan: Roan was kept alive from the slaughter because he reminded Skye of his brother, Baron. He's the youngest of the original four and calls Skye his "big brother" on account that Skye had brainwashed him when he was younger to think he was his guardian, when Skye had actually murdered his parents in the slaughter. He looks up to Skye as his biggest role model and would do anything to impress him. Roan and Jester often spar together to help develop this little kid's skills.

Neko: A former member of the 12 Higher Beings that look after the universe. She was exiled for suspected treason. Her hair used to be incredibly long, as it was a tradition of the higher beings to not cut their hair, but was chopped short and both of her wings ripped out as a physical sign of a fallen god. She's the sole reason that Skye is the way he is now -- all because one day she grew bored and decided to steal Skye's father for her own sake, make skye's mom go mad, and forced him to kill and feed off of his brothers, while turning him into her own experimental pet. By far, she's probably the most hated character out of anyone connected to Skye.Which was intended, wooo!

Kasuris: Skye's father. He worked his way up from a gang leader to a powerful Demon Lord, and was working his way to the title of an Overlord. He was respected and feared by fellow demon kind but was much more of a family-man than a tyrannical leader. He was at his happiest when he met Cynthia and began to raise a family, always putting them before his work. The former goddess Neko grew jealous that he would go after such a plain looking woman like Cynthia and stole him away and began to tear down his family. To this day, he's still missing but presumed alive.

Cynthia: Skye's mother. Skye, in present, will never refer to her by name, but will only describe her as "the bitch/whore/slut/disgusting woman", what have you. She was an incredibly kind and loving mother, and a very predominant member of society, mainly in political issues. When her husband suddenly "vanished", she still held hope that he would come back. Disgusted by her faith, Neko broke into her mind and drove her crazy to the point where she locked all of her kids away in a dark room and left them to die. Later, once Skye had killed off his brothers under Neko's influence, she, still under the goddess' mind control, preformed a ritual that completely replaced Skye's body with an inorganic material, simply referred to as "Darkness" -- cursing him to be neither alive or dead for the rest of eternity. Cynthia locked him away in the room again, and the second time she opened the door, Skye lunged and killed her in a crazed frenzy.

Mr. Teddy: Skye's favorite toy as a child -- he went almost everywhere with it. He grew a love for "X" patterns because of the stuffed animal as well. Even though it may seem like a trivial item it imposed a great symbolism to him as what little childhood he had and how joyous it used to be. Whether he still has this bear or not is undisclosed.

Seraph: Skye's eldest brother. he was to inherit his father's legacy, but he was much more interested in studying at a renowned academy instead. He was very serious and proper and kept his other brothers in line. Under his serious demeanor was a kind heart though. Skye respected him the most when he was younger. Although, he was the first to die at Skye's hands.

Keith: The wild card of the family. He was a free spirit and often got into the most trouble. Keith was determined to be a rockstar. When Seraph nagged him about his lousy grades, he simply shrugged it off and said that you don't need to know any math to play a guitar. He and Skye were never exactly close because of the age difference, but he still gave him a playful noogie now and then.

Trenton: the black sheep of the family. He didn't inherit horns or a tail from his mother or father, and was often made fun of at school for looking like a human. It wasn't until Keith had to beat the hell out of his bullies and threaten them about who their dad was that they stopped. Instead of helping though, it made Trenton a complete outcast. He only found his brothers to be his only friends. Being the middle child, he was often used as a tie breaker when it came to arguments between the older siblings, Keith and Serpah, and the younger brothers, Baron and Skye.

Baron The second-to-youngest sibling besides Skye. Baron and Skye were best friends, and they did practically everything together -- their favorite thing being annoying Keith whenever he had a girl over. He and Skye were also the only ones to inherit the Monochromatic gene, and their mom always made sure they were covered head to toe, even if they were inside out of overly-protective-motherly-instinct. He was the last one Skye killed when locked in the room.

Maid #64 Along with everyday chores at Skye's manor/castle/academy/giant ass building complex, she was granted the special task of waking Skye up when he loses consciousness or "sleeps". This only happens about four times a year, and he won't wake up for a loooong time unless disturbed by an outside force. In the rush of being woken up, he loses control of his powers for a split second that ends up "accidentally" killing whoever wakes him up. But strangely enough, no matter how many times shes been torn limb from limb, decapitated, or blown up, she seems to always be back as healthy as ever a few days later. The other staff workers wonder if she's actually alive in the first place.

Jericho: Also known as Dr. Jericho, he's Skye's top, personal, mad little scientist. He's most famously known for reverse engineering the substance that Skye is made out of, to make a one of a kind fabric named BioTex -- a material that is able to travel with Skye through shadows and mold and transform at his command. It blocks out all color contact, just like normal clothes, and 80% of direct UV rays, it protects him from the neck-down in most situations. Jericho also creates the horrid creatures that roam Skye's fortress' walls -- one of them had bit off his right arm in the process of being brought to life. The mechanical arm he's replaced it with often tweaks and glitches, causing him to accidentally smack others, himself, and mess up experiments, but he refuses to replace it, for some odd reason. Skye and him seem to have a close friendship, but Dr. Jericho's loyal allegiance to Skye is starting to come into question.

General McArthur [Yes, I know there was an actual general named McArthur in the past xD ] General McArthur hates you, hates your face, hates your mother, and above all else -- hates Skye. He lost a bet with Skye that caused him to lose his soul. Skye uses him to train his new recruits in his army. All the pent-up frustration at his situation is unleashed on the unsuspecting cadets. The only one he can slightly stand is Hier.

Sammy Ann: Also known as "Skye's little angel". He's personally training her into a ridiculously powerful little package. She was the only surviving member of a rebelling providence that Skye had burnt to the ground, playing it off that a forest fire had caused the damage. In her hysterical state when he and his troops first found her amidst the rubble when doing a sweep over to see if any one was left alive, he decided to brainwash her much in the way he did Roan instead of killing her off. She's completely loyal to Skye's cause, and does have a slight crush on Roan as well.

Charlemagne: An exiled higher Being like Neko. his hair too was cut, never to grow again, and one of his wings ripped out. He's Skye's number one enemy. Before Skye came to power, Charlemagne came to completely obliterate the Other World in a course of 300 days. On the 299th day, Skye was able to find and confront Charlemagne and fight him one on one, with minimal support from Hier, Jester, and Roan upon his request. Even though Skye won, sending Charlemagne to the depths of a Netherworld named Hades, Charlie was able to permanently damage his right eye using a light based, mega attack. In Hades, Charlemagne has spent 500 years regaining the power that Skye stole from him. In this time, Skye turned the waste land and the vagabond survivors left in the Other World to a thriving empire under his name. Skye built his campaign with lies -- never being able to reveal what really happened. In their religion, "god killing", or stealing the power from a Higher Being, was considered the biggest sin, even if it was an exiled god. They believed that if you weren't born with that extraordinary power, it wasn't meant to be, and should never be. Charlemagne is still planning his revenge.

DeadBird Skye tricked him out of his soul, saying that he could save his mother from death if he would serve him. He used the kid's soul to try to bring his beloved bird back to life. Instead, the bird transformed into something barely human -- something Skye named DeadBird. DB is no forced to serve under Skye as a sort of repo man, collecting Other Worldianer's souls if they're in debt to Skye. He constantly fights between his own free will and the remaining loyalties of the bird's body he's trapped in. He has puppet-like movements and stiff posture, and his neck and hands spontaneously snap or twitch, and his body often throws itself into spasms. He's a mute by choice and refuses to speak unless its absolutely, critically necessary.

"Black Jack" Williams: Black Jack is a mob boss of an organization called "black Jack's bunny Brigade" in an alternate world that connects to the Other World. He apparantly struck up a deal with Skye to give him a mysterious red power that enabled him to work his way to the top and command a legion of fellow bunny brigadiers. Jack and Skye's relationship is a strained partnership that often comes off as a playful rivalry of who has the better organization and minions.

Lucien: A young, rising pop idol in a different world that also connects to the Other World. He sold his soul to Skye in exchange for a singing voice like no other, so he could follow in his uncle and father's footsteps as a musical idol. He was born with a terrible voice, and made the deal with Skye so maybe his father would actually recognize him. [he was already the bastard child of a groupie that his father, Chase, didn't want [using "bastard" because idk if here's a word for a kid without their mother instead of father xD; ] ] Lucien didn't think about the reprimands and at the height of his career, Skye called him back to the other world to be forcibly worked as his servant until h dies. Lucien, after a while, gave into his fate and came willingly. He still loves to cause trouble [even from his days back at HHA with the Hell Trio -- for those of you who may know Lucien from xD], and is trying to start his musical career over again in the Other World.

Vance: Skye had infested Vance's family-owned dream factroy with his blob-like creatures and caused it to mass produce nightmares and subliminal Monochromatic messages. In order to save his factory, Vance had to make a deal with Skye which involved him to give up his soul as well, being forced to live with the paranoia of when and where Skye's going to call him back for eternal servitude in the Other World. Until then, he's working on a plan to try to get his soul back.

Kroix: Nicknamed "little bluebird" by Skye -- he's on a constant, repetitious, vicious cycle with Skye to try to change him into a better person. Skye's trying to wear his mind down enough to finally completely exhaust him into giving up, dying, or nabbing his soul as well. Kroix's constant heroic activities pisses the crap out of Skye, including when he randomly pops up to give Skye "life lessons".
