Been away from dA for quite some time now,(too busy with artician.com) so eventually got round to posting again.This is my first experiment in HR Giger's style. OK its not brilliant, but I learned a lot in the short time it took to produce. Definitly gonna work in this area.
Stock for the face is from [link] Emily is a seriously beautiful woman, and yes she did give me permission to use her image many, many months ago.
Only other bits used are a small area of a mech model someone mailed me early in the year, and a coupla coiled tubes.
The rest is PS7............Bout 6 hrs total work.

Lol dont wanna sound all poetic or anything, but, The whole distortion of the sinister Biomechanical apararus, a sense of hope and domination seems to be conveyed in the woman's eyes. Basically, I like it!

Love this new piece... Really captured the Giger Feel. Could be a little more towards the grey side of the spectrum... but seriously looks awsome. Love the wet gooey look you've worked into it. I really like the mechanics around the face and mask but wgat I find really rocks is the detailed spinal stuff just below the face. Welcome back AJ!

excellent work on the piece. i love how it looks symmetrical, but it's not even close to it! superb detail. love the color scheme, goes well with the whole "futuristic cyborg"... reminds me of alien

This looks like it took forever to make bro, and lots of trial and errors before the final cut we see here. IT totally has the Giger look to it imo. Very cool work bro, and glad to see something from you.
And yea I need to get my ass back over to artician, I love my pw and cant get in lol...and school again, but I still have that piece im working on. So maybe i'll see ya on yahoo later??

Beautiful technical work bro, the central area with the face and mechanics spreading from it is amazing. I think the top and bottom areas need more definition, looks almost like acrylic paint at the moment... it's too soft and gloopy looking.
