Well...I think I started drawing because some class were boring as f***.
As for this one....I was waiting for a teacher to do his Kanji class...and....then...this came out XD
And considering that kind of stuff seem to please to a lot of people, I may do drawings like that more....^^
Weirdly enough it gets more favs than a full colored drawing....XD I guess people like the manga style better...

We all did awful stuff and disrespectful things when we were in school....Until we found a real passion...( mine will be foreign Languages....)
A Kanji is a writting Japanese system using the Chinese characters ( the kanji displayed in a circle on the top of this drawing basically means Snake )
Most of the time, Japanese people use either Hiragana ( for typical Japanese word ) or Katakana...( for foreign words that can be difficult to pronounce for them...) but in order to write less characters they can use the Kanji too....( they will be prounounced the Japanese way...but you can find them in the Chinese writting system too )
On this drawing I writed Dragon Ball and Gogeta using the Katakana system.(ドラゴンボール).. We...Users of the Roman Alphabet will say Dragon Ball....but...;written like that...It's pronounced Doragon Bôru...
So...I'm taking class of that...as I want to become a Japanese Translator it's better to know the Kanji ( when the teacher is here....^^ )
I know....I get really mad when I do something quick and it gets more favs than something I spend hours to sketch, ink, color and edit.....that will barely get two views...
But...I see that you are new....So...
Most of the DA Dragon Ball Communauty get the fame from redrawing popular stuff, Booby Bulma and 18... stupid flat recolorings of Linearts done by tracers..and colored scan mangas....so when someone do something more original....they get ignored most of the time....
That's what grinds me off...
Why would you learn to draw if it's to redraw stuff that has already been saw 10000 times....?
Same when someone with a lot of original ideas gets ignored....while everyone will preach the guy that redraw a famous scene....
I'm starting to have this conversation with other humble artists way too much those days....
Like you said....that's the world we live in...
Until we can change it...let's do things that really matter....

Trust me it's the same with every fandom. But I will be honest, Dragon ball fan-base is worse when it comes to creativity.
Most people in the fandom, their characters all look like they came from Dragon Ball Xenoverse. Which sucks because Xenoverse you're pretty much limited to what you want to wear. Apparently, females must have either Pan, Bulma or 18's eyes. What if I want my female to have Goku's eyes?
And a good majority of OCs are saiyans even tho they're suppose to be only like a few survivors. I know and understand Saiyans are OP. But there's other races that they can invent.
But I am guilty of doing the same but it's not a pure blood saiyan and he's more of a clone like character with multiple dna. He's created by Doctor Giro.
Pretty much why I was attracted to yours. Exactly because it's different.
I like to go and say "Yeah, I know this guy's art!"

Most of them will either insult you for changing a character's design....( I do redesigns a lot...)
Some of them will assume that such fights or such fusion can't happen....
Most of them can't assume that you are trying to reshape Dragon Ball as your own...personal OTP and they will never cease to tell you such or such things is not Okay....
About the OC....I writed a journal about it....

And yeah....I'm turned off by people who kept doing screenshots of their OC and fill it into the DA Group...I mean..man...this isn't art...plus...everyon euse the Gohan's haircut to create the OC....so....grab your ass and a pen, learn to draw...and design your OC the way you want him to be....
I understand that people love to create Saiyans ( they're my main OTP....) But at least...giving them some headcannons will be more than welcome....
If they can make a good story with them while they continue to interact with the official characters...then why not...? ( at the condition they don't became Mary / Gary Stu....)

I draw because I enjoy it....( The fame, the money yiu can make out of this, the mutliple watchers, the suck up on populart artists....) are really so far away of my own considerations...
I'm like you, I rather watch someone to keep him close and makes friend out of him than watch everyone and kept filling my favs with their works....
We need more original artists and less SJW...and more people like you too....So allow me to give you a watch, I'm curious to see what you will do next ^^

I don't give a fuck about cash or fame. I am however interested in people whose interested in my stuff and as well into their own passion.
There has been so many people using Gohan's hair cut it's stunning. XD Some looks like Yamcha and some looks like Goku. And to my supprise a bunch of oc Saiyans got their body swapped by Zamasu or they can go toe to toe with Jiren and Goku.
Yeah, Ku is the saiyan OC I was talking about I've created saiyans ocs on my other account but I only drew them once cause I didn't felt anything for them they felt flat and boring lol.
However, I do like Ku because he's not just another saiyan. And I do plan to use him very soon.
But yeah you're right, most DB fans are all guilty of using saiyans as oc, as much as Sonic FB is guilty using a red hedgehog.

The thing is after a certain amount of time....it's not really fun and it tends to become extremely blend and boring.

Well...normally I would have draw his eyes the Old Vegeta way ( round on the sides...but...sometimes...my hand slipped....and I wasn't drawing it with my real materials....XD )
