Hi everyone! Sorry again for my long hiatus...craziness in life and all has kept me from Deviant lately. However, in order to celebrate the good news of the FOURTH SEASON OF SLAYERS starting THIS JULY, I had to create new Slayers bookmarks to my collection. ^_^ These are brand-spanking new, finished by me just a few seconds ago (done completely in Photoshop, as per usual).These will be for sale at my Artist Alley space at Acen 2008, so please look for me at Katsuyama Studios! And look for more new bookmarks from series like Ouran, Death Note, Tsubasa Chronicles, and more!
And PS: Look for new CELL PHONE STRAPS at my Acen Artist Alley booth! (Of COURSE I'll have these as straps too...I'm a die-hard Slayers fan!)

I'm sorry you won't be at Acen. You should go sometime! It's a lot of fun! The bookmarks are only $3 a piece, so make sure your friend stops by my booth! I'm listed under "Katsuyama Studios" and I have an ad in the Acen pocket book that everyone gets with their con bags.

I mostly wish they'd done more like the OAVs with Lina and Naga.
I found the animation style to be superb, since they more than likely had a higher budget.

Well, I've been doing a lot of artwork lately, actually...(that's why I'm not sleeping at all...). I just can't really post any of it up here yet because of it being displayed and for sale in some shows around the suburbs of Chicago. I've got 3 coming up too (not including the craziness that is Acen every year). And I'm going to have a painting on display abroad, but I can't really go into details about that yet either. And then the rest of it has been planning for my portfolio for grad school...X_x streeeesssss...
Anywho, I've also been working on a ton of stuff for Acen's Artist Alley in my "free time" (aka when I should be sleeping after getting my graphics design work and fine art stuff done), and will be uploading all of those new pieces within the next few weeks. Please look for them!
