It's not supposed to be a cat or anything, I meant it to be a lemur. The hybrid thingy is a joke, though I think I'll keep it. The point is, it's the thought that counts and the thought was lemur. And I had a major anatomy fail... XD
I think it's either the head, face or the paws? Or... definitely the face XD Or I'm just paranoid? >.>

This is a WIP, but I think it's okay for public display. I still have to redefine the fingers and ears. I'd appreciate some suggestions on how to go about this, thank you~

Yes, most people aren't ready for critiquing lemur anatomy, but I do like to get comments and critique so I know what looks awkward or off. ;D Always useful--and it makes me excited about getting back to this work P=

absolutely beautiful the colors are vibrant, the pose is entertaining, i love the shading it looks so fluffy and realistic! i also love how you did the markings, they look so natural on the lemur especially with the complicated pose

well you could add a little bit of fur and also do the forearm muscles, i bet it'd look really cool!and i kinda like the paws i cant wait to see this piece finished it's already amazing but seeing it finished would be fantastic!

As for your anatomy fail, maybe it's the streak of dark fur running from his back down, over the shoulder an onto his elbow. This looks distracting to me. The way the lemur poses, I guess there should be a shadow behind his elbow...

I don't know what's the meaning of "bunched" in this context. To me, it just looks as if he is wearing something over his shoulder, running back over his back. And I keep thinking: that ought not be there!

Nice character in the first place! To me the overall anatomy looks logical. Everything is in harmony. So it depends on which animal you want to be the dominant factor in the anatomy. As it is a lemur I can say it looks fine. The backline, legposition and hands look good. But for a fox (or a hybrid) I would expect a narrower bodybuild and larger ears. As for a more fluffy tail. However now he looks like an interesting hybrid, with both features: lemur and fox

I was actually trying for full lemur, so thanks! XD I have another based on a ruffed lemur, but it seems I'm a sucker for the ring-tailed as much as everybody else ^w^
That made me curious, though. Now I'm doodling fox lemurs (one turned into an otterfox... Go figure? XD) now ;D

this is absolutly stunning!I love hid pose. The fingers of his left hand (so my right hand) look a bit strange,maybe you should try finding a reference photo of human hand in a similar position. The details on the fur are also really amazing.
