ive been asleep basically all day bc i didnt sleep well last night, im not allowed to sleep at a comfortable temperature LOL

rillia - mermaid. absolutely not a vegetarian and also doesn't wait for her food to be dead before she eats it. likes chatting with humans and retrieving lost objects. a traveler that hasn't really settled down anywhere (she has multiple 'hideouts' she stays at while traveling to different areas, but she never really stays in one place for very long). likes collecting cool looking objects that people have dropped and not really cared enough to retrieve. favorite foods are the red snapper, tuna, and marlin (swordfish). doesn't really consider how different her way of life is from humans; she doesn't understand why anyone would be disturbed at her grabbing and eating a fish alive mid-conversation. friendly disposition, just doesn't realize how freaky her behaviors are to humans because they're very common in merfolk.

poki - childhood friend of her boss, lucilla. she works as the head maid at lucilla's mansion; she loves cooking and cleaning, so this works out perfectly for her. has her own private room in the mansion (not even lucilla enters without her strict permission) likes drawing, but is much too nervous and shy about her artwork to show it to anybody. doesn't mind letting people touch/pet her, so long as they ask first. also very friendly disposition. has a scratching post in her bedroom. hates nail clippers. very much the 'big sister' friend. greatest accomplishment (in her eyes) was one time she threw a washcloth behind her and it landed in the center of the laundry basket. she was, and still is, very proud of herself for that. likes to find happiness and positivity in the smallest things, believing there really is beauty in everything.

lucilla - poki's childhood friend and one of many, Many adoptive siblings to god of hunt patori and witch miki. her parents adopt many orphaned non-human children, and lucilla was one of them. best friends with her adoptive sibling graham. got rich through her many inventions, and tries to use her wealth well; she spends what she has to on her bills, and makes sure her staff are all paid well. she also sends money back home for her parents to support the growing family, and keeps her mansion open for the family to come visit. she keeps a portion to support herself and buy things she likes, and distributes the rest. has loved tinkering since she was a child, her favorite activity being taking things apart to study them and then putting them back together. hates the phrase 'pretty kitty'. Really Gay. cat lesbian. dated flannery for a while, and they split on good terms. also used to date nano, and they're also still friends. really likes black and white clothes, and highly interested in gothic fashion. loves anything poki cooks. also skilled in using a sword; she has modified a black parasol to have a thin blade hidden inside the pole, which is removable via the handle. she carries this parasol with her when going out in public for self defense.

rin - oarfish mage, a 13 year old mermaid. big case of chuunibyou (middle school syndrome). despite her childish nature and young age, she's a wildly powerful mage and has been appointed the head mage of the dragon palace. really likes anime. easily flustered, especially by people who don;t take her dramatic act seriously. will always talk to people like she's above them; for this reason there are a lot of people in the dragon palace who aren't very fond of her. they know she's young, but her attitude pushes them away. wants to make friends, but doesn't know how to approach people, so she continues her superiority act. she'll grow out of it. eventually. one of the few who really likes spicy food.

mozzarella - mozzy for short. pomeranian. fully grown adult, but is very small due to her species. works at the same nurse-themed maid cafe that nano does. collects mason jars, defective plushies, and playing cards. holds a podcast with her friends about the history of different kinds of swords. loves cutesy fashion. known to be extremely weak to painkillers, which makes dealing with her after surgeries an adventure all on its own. close friends with nano. terrible at dancing. really good at arcade racing games. really good at UFO catchers, but only when she's winning something for another person. favorite food is anything meaty; the rarer the steak, the better she likes it.

im goign. back to sleep. it is 2am. i woke up at 8am, went back to sleep till 1pm, went grocery shopping with my roommate apparently and said a lot of weird shit that i do not remember, went back to sleep when we got back, and woke up at 9pm. im competing for the championship title for most hours spent asleep when i could have been doing literally anything else, thanks for ur support
