Golly gee whiz I REALLY love Korra.[link] <-- Step-by-step process!
I've been wanting to draw a Korra fan pic for a long time now, but it wasn't until last weekend when I actually got it in me to draw it, especially after how much time I spent staring down Tenzin and his kids. My only regrets with this picture are the kind of strange lighting around that middle cluster of fire. Hmm.
I'm really happy with this piece. I didn't use any references (save the reference of the clothes and her features) and I did all the coloring and elements and shading and lighting without any shortcuts. That feel, bro. That feel.
I hope you guys all enjoy my first Korra fanart as much as I enjoyed making it. Thanks for stopping by <3

I really love how you drew Korra! It is really amazing and beautiful! Her use of water and fire at the same time gives her a gorgoues impact, and her eye color really pops. This is awesome! I personally agree about the glow around the central fire ball though. I bet it would look just fine without the glow, with the background color right up to the border of the flames, like you did with the water. All in all, you kick ass
