A rare instance of a lipstick mark by the queen herself, I really like the shade of her lips and the dress here too, it looks great.
I could look at stuff with Jessica on it all day, regardless of what it is, she's such an appealing character, visually and as a person as well.
Sadly, a character like her would never be in a piece of western children's media nowadays, she's just too hot!

Yeah, you said something dear to me: the hypocrisy of modern medias. Modern animation treats their audience like children (dumb children, to be exact). They just add some catchy and -superficially- deep phrases\moments in the movie, so people can say "Wow, this movie's so deep! It's for adults too!". Bleah.. There's more deepness in a Tex Avery scribble of a girl than the whole last decade of cinema.

It's a shame, honestly.
I can get glimpses of a nice idea in some of this stuff, but it tends to feel watered down, like something is missing or was censored or altered during the creation process at some point in order to appeal to a trend, play safe and cut costs or whatever.

Absolutely spot on, I'm glad there's someone else with my exact same feeling.
(which, sadly, is not just a feeling, it is an accurate description of how cinema works nowadays, and the reason why stories and characters feel not authentic: they are deprived of any primordial truth and made into safe, bland one-dimensional props)
