Description
Here is a comic of Splinter's way on how to wash properly, rodent style. The Turtles learn a mammal's way of how to keep clean, which Leo adopts completely to extremes.Mikey's happy to get a tongue-bath from big brother Leo (NO slash is implied here!), while Raph and Don find Leo's overly caring nature babyish to them and reject any bath time from Leo.

Not surprised that Leo and Mikey would follow Splinter's way on how to wash themselves and that Mikey's the only one who doesn't mind getting a tongue bath from Leo when he offers. Does Mikey offer the same in return to Leo?

This is absolutely gorgeous! And cute, too! I love that you've been adding their "red ears" on their heads, it makes them look very natural, and gives them a bit of color. Love it!

I always like putting the red markings behind their ears which is what I think gave Eastman and Laird the idea of all red masks when these Turtles have natural red markings in their skin.

Hmm. I never thought of it that way! That might indeed explain the original color of the masks. Red-ears are so pretty, anyway, and I like that you've kept those markings.

I thinks Don and Raph (especially Raph) are in-tune with their reptilian selves while Leo and Mikey are too close to Splinter to care about their natural roots. Leo definitely is a teacher's pet (Splinter Jr.), no doubt ^.^ He reminds me a little of Scott Summers aka Cyclops from the X-Men (another apple polisher).

I agree. Leo is a better brother than Scott, but maybe not too because from the 2k7 movie Leo did not make up with Raph before he started ordering them around again.
He didn't realize that Don and Mikey were following Raph instead of Leo and Raph used that to his advantage to get back at Leo for 'abandoning' them. I glad they made up near the end though. ^_^

Oh man, Leo is getting burnt by Raph and Don (who know how to play it smart XD). Wake up Leo, you can be concern for your brothers when the time is needed. However, you gotta let them be adults and let them fall on their own two feet... Of course, Mikey rarely falls. XD

Sometimes Leo needs to get burned (he's too high and mighty at times, needs to be yanked off his skyscraper tall high horse). He reminds me of an extremely upgraded cooler version of Scott Summers aka Cyclops (if there ever was an apple polisher, it be Scott). Scott's an older brother too (I relate somewhat with Alex aka Havok) and he worries just like Leo does.

Yeah, I didn't see that one coming. XD Still, Leo knows his flaws likewhere he learned from Splinter that anything can be used as a weapon, and the way he attacked after the Turtles defeated Shredder in season 3.

True, Leo does try to learn from his mistakes (though he mentally beats himself up over any mistakes he makes- he takes failure excessively to heart). I do love Leo, it's just his arrogance that turns me away.

I know, and Raph beats himself up mentally too much. Mikey should teach them how to relax, make funny jokes once in awhile (which I know they do), just like their 1987 counterparts, lol.
The 1987 Raph is so different from the 2003 Raph, that the angry Raph should learn from the old-school and sarcastic Raph. XD

Yes I agree ^^ Though I liked the 2k3 version more than the 87 version. But I liked the first movie and NM versions of Raph best. They seemed more like him and were balanced out well (not too much one way or another). ^.^

Yeah, I always liked the NM version of Raph. His arguments with Leo in that show are downright comical, and how they test each other was literally hilarious. XD Too bad we can't see that in your fic, seeing Raph and Leo's fights reduced to comical slapsticks, lol.

I don't get why they use adult men to voice teens. They should have teens voicing teens so they sound like that- teens! In the Making of the Coming out of their Shells tour concert video, the Turtles there sounded A LOT like real teens, with the teen accent and all, it's so cute! Don sounded so cute and had an evil little laugh and everything. See it on Youtube, it's worth it ^_~

Awww poor Leo. he's only trying to do what he believes is right. It's how he was taught. Still, when they were tots, Mikey slobbering over Donnie made me laugh. Raph getting all pissy is nothing new but Donnie looks a little sinister. Likes he'll murder Leo if he licks him. Still with Mikey, I see how he would have the natural bath. Being the youngest. And Leo, being the oldest practices what he's taught. Grooming is seen as not only a way to keep clean but it's social and a sign of affection. I own three cats and they groom me. It's worse when I'm alseep as they groom my nose and eyebrows. Any hows this pic is great for the comedy value and for the brotherly bond between Mikey and Leo.

Well he might bite but I sure that he's past that. He might fight Leo off of course. Raph looks like he would lay the smack down on him. Poor Leo is sheltered and as such he doesn't know the way of the world huh? Still, what would you do if Leo offered you a tongue bath? I know I would accept. Weird as it sounds since I have nown the turtles it seems to me like they are brothers. And so it doesn't sound odd to me.
