....I seriously need to stop trying to maim my OCs... ._.'

Read the first volume of Soul Eater Not! (which is by the same mangaka and has the same basic idea as the regular SE; but different characters appear in it). So I felt like drawing the next part of Nyx and Korosu's story; which takes place of season 2 of the anime. Gosh, I really messed up on Korosu's damn curly hair >.<''

Storyline:
During the episode in the anime where the DWMA students go to get Bru out of that tornado thing; Nyx and Korosu stick with Sid and the others since they'll have more protection (seeing as this was Nyx's first mission since she went blind). When Sid goes after Mifune; Korosu and Nyx are left alone. They try to go back to find the others but are confronted by Free who had tagged along with Erika Frog and the Mizune sisters on Medusa's orders (let's say he got separated from Erika and that's how he was randomly somewhere else on the island). Of course, Korosu remembers that Kid mentioned that Free had been working for Medusa back when Asura escaped from the DWMA and immediately suggests that they not fight (and because he's worried about Nyx getting into a fight with an immortal). Unfortunately, Free recognizes the two as DWMA students and attacks them. Surprisingly, Nyx is able to fight pretty good and dodge Free's attacks thanks to the special training she got but things quickly change when Nyx slips in the snow. Free is able to gash Nyx on her arm and back. Korosu tries to transform into his human form so he can protect her but Nyx orders him not to. From that point on, Free basically beats the living hell out of Nyx until she's nothing but a bloody mess. It's about that time when Jackie and her Kim (that random girl team in the episode) send a signal to Sid and the others, telling them it's time to leave the island. Free sees this and then is called by Erika Frog who appeared and they retreat.

After the enemy leaves, Korosu transforms back into human form and becomes hysteric over Nyx's condition. Nyx smiles and tell him she'll be fine even though she is barely conscious. As Korosu tries to stop Nyx's wounds from bleeding, Nyx asks Korosu a question,

"You've been so very nice to me ever since we fought Medusa...Is this really all just because you feel guilty over my going blind?"

Korosu doesn't answer and tells her to be quiet so he can clean her wounds but Nyx refuses and smiles again,

"You know, it wasn't your fault. Nothing was. Besides, it doesn't matter if I get hurt. I am a Meister after all. But I am very thankful to have a weapon like y..."

However, Nyx falls unconscious just as she tries to finish her sentence. Korosu begins to freak out again and becomes emotional when he can't wake Nyx up. Eventually, Sid and the others find them and take them back to the shore to leave the island. Nyx has no permanent damage but Korosu hates himself for not being able to protect Nyx once again. Of course, like always, Nyx doesn't blame him for anything and things return to normal...for now.

When I wrote this storyline, I had just read a volume of Dengeki Daisy and Black Bird; two amazing romance mangas so I apologize if this storyline is a bit mushy XDDD Actually, ironically enough; Korosu's new nature is just like the main guys in both those mangas; protective and loving. I did that unintentionally, I assure yoy guys; but awww, Korosu >:
