Finally! It's DONE!!
I've been working on this for months........ Well, I guess I should say I haven’t been working on this for months.
I drew this for a friend of mine; this is her dog, Rusty. He's an Australian Shepherd like Koda, and about three months old in this drawing. He certainly doesn't look like this anymore.
I'm really happy with how Rusty turned out, but I hate the grass.

Hey guys, there’s been some confusion when it comes to this piece, so I’m hear to clear that up. When I first submitted it I wasn’t sure which division I should put it in, and I chose the wrong one. I put it in Digital Art > Drawings > Animals, when it probably should be in Digital Art > Photo-Manipulations > Animals and Plants. I’m so sorry. I did actually start with a photograph, but I burred it until it was unrecognizable, so that I wouldn’t have to fill in block colors. Then I painted on the blurred photograph until it looks the way it does now. I drew this picture for a friend of her dog; I wasn’t going to sell it or anything; it was totally innocent. I was just being lazy, and didn’t want to spend extra hours filling in block colors if it was only going to a friend. I’m so sorry. I should have made everything clearer; I didn’t mean to deceive anyone; it was a mistake. Please don’t get mad – I think I’ve had enough demeaning comments about this to last a lifetime. I just want to make sure that you know that I didn’t deceive you on purpose, I’ve fixed it now, and I will put drawings I do this way in Photo-Manipulations from now on. Please forgive me, it was an accident.

Border Collies, Australian Shepherds and Siberian Huskies are my favorite dogs, by far!
I've never had an Australian Shepherd or a Husky as a pet, though -- only had a Labrador, a Red Setter and my two Collies.

My favorites are Australian Shepherds, Border Collies, and German Shepherds. (Which are the only breeds I've ever had as pets.)

I've also had a German Shepherd called Sally, but it was when I was a baby, hence why I couldn't remember at that moment.
I know quite a lot about Huskies, and I nag my mum constantly to let me get one... But she always says that three pets is already too many.

It's stunningly AMAZING! as always! When I saw the preview in my mesages I thought it was a photo but a closer look immediately told that it was one of your incredible paintings. Reading the edit, and skimming through a few of the comments, I'm yet again appauled by how many of our fellow deviants are to put it mildly FUCKED! *'scuse the language*
I think you should just upload the original photo and make a show of the two next to each other. This pic while exceptionally amazing bears clear traces of being digitally painted by you. For one the colours are more creamy and less sharp than they would be on an actual photo. A photo is never quite as soft in it's shades and shapes as this pic.
If people are gonna crit, then they should at least learn their art skills first. The difference is there, you just have to look.
Anyway amazing GORGEOUS pic!

I can't believe you people! She worked on this for so long, and I should know considering the WIPs she sent me, and you just crush her happiness! She deserved that DD, even if it was slightly painted over! I know it looks too good to be painted, my mom refused to believe me when I showed her, but it really is about 90% painted! And for you to get it removed from the DD list, that's awful, you all suck
