Yes, his name is actually Archibald Haddock, Francis is his ancestor. Β I really enjoyed your picture and hope you will consider drawing more Tintin characters.
If you like drawing sea captains, you should draw Haddock's old buddy Captain Chester...he's a character who never got much spotlight in the books.
I have my own gallery of Tintin I've done along with a 71 Chapter fanfiction lol. I know it's crazy. Β I have one more chapter to write and it's painstakingly taking me forever to finish it. Β My readers are seriously annoyed with me I'm sure.

Man I will sure do more tintin characters in the near future! I really liked drawing and painting in this style, so it's a nice idea to increase my tintin gallery and revisit this style

Yes, I worked on that fanfiction for 2 years and took a break... I have one more chapter to write and it's 2/3rds finished.
I had a Tintin art contest and just barely was able to generate enough interest. Β I think I will wait until the next movie comes out. Β If it ever does that is.
The Tintin universe is huge and there is plenty of original material and unofficial too!
