Wow congratulations, this is the demo and already looks so good...love jumping on the tigers <3 plus the movements are well made, can't wait for more

I did terribly, but that's because I have big hands and it's hard for me to play games where the action keys are bunched closely together
The game looks great. I noticed you could changed directions in mid jump by alternately tapping the left and right keys, so you wound up hovering in the air. Hilarious! Even though I was rubbish with the enemies, I still had fun trying to make Daring Do float around on screen.
Can't wait to see more!

(Remind me of the first Rayman GBC, in the Ancient Forest: peaceful music, in a forest with mysterious ruins, in a cartoon-like world )
A few Ideas:
-A game moar "dynamic" (when a pony run. it run) like in the show?
-Lianas. like in the show
-a "Pinkie Pie Universe Distortion" somewhere with pinkie. for fun and as sidekick for the show
-levels in which Daring Do can glide (it's a pegasus. after all)
-keep it simple. like now. Something cool and simple.

Some people have already said what I'm about to say but I'll say it anyway.
FPS was fine during game play, usually around 59-60 with maybe a 58 every so often (the only time it's gone lower is while I was typing this)
A small problem I had like many others was being killed(?) by enemies I had already taken out (maybe remove the hitbox of the dead(?) enemy if possible)
I've seen a couple of others have found out about the "Super Jump" with the stairs(and a few other places) but it's also possible with the taken out enemies (so far I've only gotten it to work while I'm still moving)
That's all I've found so far.
Great game so far, I'm assuming there are some things that will be changed/added later on (such as a proper death(?) animation) looking forward to seeing where this goes.

I might also mention that I have also just managed to do the "Super Jump" off an enemy while not moving.

It can be fairly hard to do(mostly happened to me by accident) but a way to do it is to pretty much spam the jump button and move around while jumping on enemies. I think there are others that have a better description of how to do it.

Very nice. You should make the different cats move at different speeds, though, to make it more challenging to leap on/over them.

Nice. A lot better graphics than I would have expected from a fan-game, props to you sir.
Things I would change/add/consider:
Add variable jump height (ala Mario or Mega Man)
Change the death animation (More preference than anything)
Change the direction Miss Do's sprite is facing when changing directions mid-air
Not have sprite mirroring (Just a suggestion)
Allow for jumping off enemies; springing off them if your jump is timed right (Just a suggestion)
And this is more me probably than anything else, but her tail feels kinda static compared to the rest of her.
Also her collision/hit box seems kinda weird; it doesn't seem to allow you to stand on the edge of a platform with only Miss Do's front or back hooves without making you slowly slip off.
Overall it's an excellent beginning. Solid engine, good graphics and music. I can't wait to see the actual game.

Neat. I think I found a bug though. I was killed by the body of a knocked out tiger. It seems like once a cat has been knocked out, Daring should be immune to collision. Also, maybe a health bar? I don't know that Daring would be knocked out by a single hit from one little minion.

pretty much what wuffyzap said. you can die after you kill the enemies, and you should be able to control the height of the jump. The game looks awesome so far though!

Great game, but maybe you should add a checkpoint? Or a lives system? Because every time I crash into a cat I end up right back at the beginning and I don't have the patience to go through

Need to be able to control jump height based on how long you hold down jump, and wasd controls would be nice. Ran 50ish fps almost constantly, occasionally going as low as 40 and as high as 70.

The initial load was a little slow, but the graphics are done well, as is the music. The framerate does a lot of bouncing around, but it stays between 40 and 70 fps. It certainly exceeds expectations. I do want to complain about how "floaty" the jumps feel. It's difficult to explain, but it does make jumping on enemies tough to time.

The visuals are lovely, the control is solid, and the music promises great things for the soundtrack. Here's hoping for equally good level design, pacing, and interesting gameplay mechanics in the finished work, which I now patiently await.

I like this game so far, the visuals are gorgeous, but the controls do need some work. One can be running, hit jump, and have the command go off a full second after jump control is pressed. That is an extreme killer of games like these.

For a fan-made side scrolling game, this is great. With its superb graphics and enjoyable music, it looks like I could play this off of a Sega Genesis. My only complaint is that the cats can still kill you after they've been hit. It's a minor problem, but it's annoying whenever I get so far only to die because I accidentally touched a cat before it disappeared.

The game is amazing, reminds me of the ones i used to play as a kid ^^
But the tigers colors really put me off, if they blended a little more that would look better, but I guess your not looking for much criticism there ^^u

Only thing I can think that hasn't already been addressed (bouncing multiple times on enemies, running into them while down still kills you) is that you can't control how high you can jump. If you could make it so that when you let go of the ^ key, you can fall, instead of having to go through with the full length of the jump.
So, other than your char needing to be a bit more maneuverable, I like it. Great BG music and art, well done.

Ohyes, also, maybe make a dying animation instead of just falling backwards and fading out? Not something that's really conducive to gameplay but it's a nice touch

Wow. This is amazing so far! I love the backdrops and the animation. My only complaint is the slowness of the jumping, but it really is great I really hope to see more of this and where it ends up ^_^

Amazing, there's a manure-ton of potential here! It reminds me of Braid (OH MY GOD PUZZLE ELEMENTS IN DARING DO SIDE SCROLLER YES). One bug I found was that touching the side of a dying enemy still kills. Keep up the good work!
