hey everybody, it's been a little while, so here's a new sketch/poster I wanted to post here. In my usual abstract ways, this piece came about from pure 'mindless' drawing, meaning nothing was planned from the onset....I just drew what I love drawing: anatomy and nonsense shapes
Then really went to town on it in photoshop...tutorial coming!

You have an amazing awareness of colour and balance in all your images, which flow beautifully too.
I once had an interview that required taking a portfolio of my work. I was embarrassed as most of my pieces were WIP and had been for years. I really like where this is going.
It has a lot of elements of most of your other work, yet somehow this one seems to have the potential to be different... is it a work in progress?

Cool... well in that case I will just throw out a few things for you to ponder. The face is awesome - the skin color and the whole feel... what if you continued that skin down to the arms and chest area and loose some of the muscular anatomy stuff, making it more fluid, still keeping those ghostly tribal designs all around. Some other strong points that you already have in here are of course the character emerging from the peacock, and that wonderful blue background with the ethereal rings... you could continue that behind the peacocks head too for some more depth. The orangish glow bottom left is great too.
Well that's my two cents. Hopefully it gives you some ideas, or at the very least didn't annoy you too much lol

The main character seems a little dark though perhaps? it doesnt have your usual harsh lighting

This has allot of potential, but I think you should spend some more time on it, judging from the skill of your other works it could be better.
