This is ned and sally by the way, not jojo. i got the reference to what they looked like from that picture of them from the movie that you bairly see. well they were abviously not covered in very much detail in that picture so i wasn't really chained to a certain technique. also it really surprised me how young they looked by the end of it. they're like at the very early stages of adulthood as far as i can tell just by looking..

well i wanted to draw ned and sally in bed together all of a sudden, and did the sketch and had an fine plan. but i got stuck when i thought about how to show enough of them that you got a good idea of it, but to also cover them enough to satisfy the rules. i think it's pretty cool that it turned out really messy and not very sharp, that helps with the effect.
i used a lot of blue and red as you can tell because sally has the red hair and ned has the blue eyes.
also, if you are curious they are naked here. i always felt that the characters were wearing an artaficial coat over their real fur. it just seemed more fun to me for it to be that way, cause then you have a wide range of possiblities to explore.
this is pretty clean compared to how i used to have it, too. you used to be able to see a lot more of the hip area and more of a naked sally, but thanks to a sheet and a shadow it was neatened up a little..
