Anyone else notice that Primal Infested Kerrigan's eyes don't constantly glow like Overmind Infested Kerrigan's eye do? a very subtle touch on her character.

they do; it's pretty well confined to the irises - subtle, but it's there.

On extreme closeup, it actually appears to be a series of lit slits radiating out from the irises

Overall, I agree - it's a very different look. In fact, on the original infested portrait they eyes so dominate the face, it doesn't even look to me like the same person's face compared to the others.
