Crossover time is fun time. I've been rewatching all of RWBY (for like the fourth time, lol) in preparation for Volume 7 coming next month. Ah man, RWBY is definitely in my top 3 fandoms. I love the character design and whole world and concept, GAH! <3 I wanted to do a Crossover with characters from Maximum Ride.

So, here's Team MNIF (Manifest) from Mistral! (I had to leave out Gaz and Angel in this one since teams are composed of 4, and I figured since they're the youngest of the Flock, they probably wouldn't be attending an Academy at the the same time as these guys.)

Alrighty then! So here's about my AU:

Max Ride- is the leader of the team. (Of course, haha.) She is a Hawk Fauness and is 18 years old. Her and her team are all second year students at Haven Academy. Being bird Faunesses in Mistral is very convenient for Max and her team since a lot of the Kingdom is mountainous and cliffs. Max's color is a Crimson Red.
Max's semblance is Speed. She can reach up to 200 miles per hour speed flying, and is also super speed on the ground.
Max's weapon of choice is two hand guns, though, she's also a huge fan of hand-to-hand combat. She is in a romantic relationship with her teammate, Fang. Max is very good at planning and instruction, but she is also very stubborn. She HATES to be wrong. Max is super sassy too, and doesn't like when things don't go her way.

Nudge- Nudge is the youngest of her team at 16. Like Ruby, Nudge was admitted into her Huntsman Academy two years ahead of her age becuase of her impressive fighting skills. Nudge's color is Salmon Pink. Nudge's semblance is Magnetism. (Thus, similar to Pyhrra, she fights with an all metal spear.) Nudge is a Sparrow Fauness. She enjoys shopping and all things fashion. (She would totally be Coco Adel's shopping buddy, lol!) Nudge is also a chatter box and LOVES to talk and hang with her friends. Nudge is also very handy with technology, and has a knack for coding and cracking into systems. Not that she ever would, but if someone had tasked her with breaking into the CCT, she could easily do it.

Iggy- Iggy is an Albatross Fauness. His specialty is explosives made with Dust. Iggy is completely blind, losing his sight at the age of 5. Thus, he relies a lot on his team, especially leader Max, for signals and directions when in combat. However, Iggy is still very capable and self-reliant. He's a bit of a genius when it comes to chemistry and science, and loves to experiment with new explosives. He also loves to cook, and his teammates often look to him when needing help with injuries and doctoring, as he is very careful and precise with everything he does. His color is light gray.
His semblance is what he calls heightened synesthesia, where he can sense colors, even without sight. Parts of this means that he can sense nearby auras by almost "seeing" a color that represents how someone nearby is feeling emotionally. (Think of it that if Max was secretly sad and keeping it to herself, Iggy would sense the color blue surrounding her, know she was there, and how she was feeling.) Another part of this semblance that comes in handy in combat, is he can detect nearby Dust by "seeing" the color. This comes in handy of course also when he needs certain dust when making explosives. (I'm not sure yet why he has goggles; I was thinking about having them let him expand his semblance, but I don't know yet.)

Fang- Fang is Max's right hand man. He's often the silent type, but when he does open his mouth it's often a snarky or sarcastic comment. Fang's semblance is camouflage. He can basically blend into his surroundings, making him invisible to opponents and Grimm. Fang's choice of weapon is dual swords, but like Max, he is also very strong in hand-to-hand combat. Fang is represented with a purply-black color. He is a Raven Fauness.

So yup. That's that. I might do some other concept drawings of this AU, (maybe Nudge and Coco hanging out?? haha)
