My first render request, this one is for ReelLifeJaneway2 who wanted something featuring Kaidan either in Shep's apartment or on the Silversun Strip, and she asked me if the piece could have some emotional undertones.So this is Kaidan after the Reaper War has been won, reminiscing about all that's happened, about all the people who have been lost, and reflecting on what the future will bring.Β

When I mention "the ones who have been lost", I'm not referring to Shepard but more as a general reference - other officers, EDI, possibly Kaidan's father and maybe some of his ex-students from the Spec Ops' Biotics Division. My Femshep was still alive at the end of my first playthrough.
You know about the Extended Cut DLC, right? You can get it absolutely free and it allows you to get the Destroy ending very easily. If you do all the sidequests and mine a few planets, you should be able to get enough EMS for Destroy. No need to play Multiplayer and no more Shepard dying!
Actually, it seems that in even with the Destroy ending Bioware still didn't want us to think that Shep was alive for sure but.... I'm not going to spoil it if you haven't played it.

yeah, I know all about the DLC, I have every single piece. I've always chosen Synthesis, but have seen the other endings...no matter what, considering that Bioware has said "this is the end of Shepard's story", im assuming the last breath is shepard's final. not sure if it was how u intended, but ur comment KINDA came off as a bit condescending lol just letting u know

Well, I guess it's all a matter of perspective. Just because it's the end of Shepard's story doesn't mean that he or she is dead and Bioware never confirmed or denied it.Β Maybe they only wanted people to know that they have told everything they had to tell about Shepard and that therefore he or she wouldn't be back in ME4, nothing more.Β
So it's all up to interpretation but from what I've seen around here, most people wouldΒ prefer to believe that Shepard did live so I simply thought it was the case for you as well but I was obviously wrong. And no, my comment certainly wasn't intented to be "condescending" and I only wrote all that to be helpful because I know that not everyone has played the DLCs.
