Funny story...I did this piece before i got the Weapon X gig. I just bought the X-Men Essentials collection and saw thinking about how much back in the day when i was younger i disliked Dave Cockrum's run on the book.Now that i feel i am a part of this industry and it's art form i realize how great of a comic book artist Cockrum was...
An amazing layout artist and draftsman-- not too mention his Brood stuff was crazy looking...And looks very "ALIEN" inspired.
Well anywayz...He was and still is one of the greats and i wanted to do an homage piece with him in mind.
